McLaughlin & Associates is pleased to offer congratulations to our clients
who came away the winners in a runoff election in Bayonne, NJ and a
primary race in South Carolina.
In the runoff election for Mayor in Bayonne, incumbent Joe Doria won a hard-fought race for re-election against challenger Patrick Conaghan, garnering 53 percent of the vote over Conaghan's 47 percent.
In the primary election for Lieutenant Governor in South Carolina, Republican challenger Mike Campbell finished ahead of incumbent Andre Bauer. Campbell took 45 percent of the vote for the nomination, ahead of Bauer's 37 percent and 18 percent for a third candidate. Campbell will face Bauer again in a runoff election on June 27, the winner of which will face Robert Barber in November.
