June 2005: M&A Congratulates Winning Clients in Virginia Primaries!

McLaughlin & Associates would like to congratulate our clients, Jerry Kilgore and Bill Bolling, on their June 14 primary wins in their respective campaigns for Governor and Lieutenant Governor of Virginia. Our congratulations also go out to our client, Del. Bob Purkey of Virginia Beach, on his success in soundly turning back a primary challenge.

Kilgore overwhelmingly won the Republican nomination for Governor with 83% of the vote over opponent George Fitch, while Bolling came away with the Lieutenant Governor nod with a comfortable 58% against his rival, Sean Connaughton.

Del. Purkey declared a decisive victory over his challenger, Peter Schmidt, with 63% of the vote.
