October 2003: M&A Celebrates with the Schwarzenegger Campaign!

McLaughlin & Associates is happy to offer congratulations to our client, Governor-elect Arnold Schwarzenegger (R-CA), on his historic victory in California's special election to recall and replace incumbent Gov. Gray Davis! We are extremely pleased to have provided strategic polling and message testing for this race.

After 54.9% of California voters elected to recall Davis as Governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger drew 48.2% of the vote as California's choice to replace him, coming out far ahead of his strongest opponent, Democrat Lt. Gov. Cruz Bustamante (32.1%).

Our congratulations also go out to political strategists Mike Murphy and Don Sipple, with whom we're proud to have worked.
